Obit for Danethel Gurley

DANETHEL GURLEY, retired teacher with the Memphis City Schools, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital. She is survived by Posey Lewis Gurley, her loving husband of 63 years; two daughters, Juanna F. Harris (Clinton) of Hephzibah, Georgia and Saundra K. Gurley of Memphis, TN; two grand-children and three-great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March 25 at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home. Services will be at 12 noon, Friday, March 26 at M.J. Edwards Funeral Home, 5494 Elvis Presley Boulevard, with burial to follow in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
