Sad News from Chattanooga

Our condolences to Francis and Lorene Steger on the death of Lorene's brother, James Labron Johnson. His Homegoing Service will be at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 9, 2010, at Taylor Funeral Home. Pastor Earnest Tanner will officiate. The Wake will be Friday Night at 7:00 p.m.

Latest Creations

Did you know that James (Tom) makes hand-made dolls? Here are a couple of pictures of his latest creations. Note the fine details (he sculpts their eyes, noses, mouths, fingers, toes, arms, elbows, knees, and bellybuttons). He also sculpts their behinds and adds every strand of hair on their heads. He really gets detailed as he creates. He even makes his own patterns.

Some of the dolls are undressed because I need to take them shopping for clothing... that's my only contribution.

He is President of this non-profit national firm which is dedicated to promoting diversity in financial services and providing opportunities for growth in this field. Maynard Jackson (former Mayor of City of Atlanta) started this non-profit years ago and James is responsible for the Boston chapter.
